This is my Christmas letter to Santa in the year 2008
Dear Santa

Hi Santa! How is it going? I’ve been a real great young man this year ☺. A lot of things changed dramatically over the year since I last sent you last years letter. To name a few: 1. I earned my 1st degree black belt in teakwondoe 2. I got a job at the Dollar Tree by the work ability program. 3. I made new friends and also I matured a lot too. Still my favorite holiday music is still Christmas music, which always makes me smile :D. Many of my friends don’t believe in you but I still believe in you Santa even If I start to think that you aren’t real I STILL BELIEVE IN YOU. My family is doing good if your wondering, Paula and Mom are doing and feeling great this time of year while dad…. Well, I don’t know about dad but I think he’s doing great to ☺. My pets (Boomer, Hedei, Lanie, and Kramer) are also doing great to also. I have a new goal for next year (2009) that I will create a video on my youtube account and I will become famous for it (AKA Youtube Celebrity) I just hope it works. I thank you for reading and understanding this letter and Merry Christmas to you :D.

When I was in Little Rock on vacation I decided to take a vacation on my blog if you did'nt mind......

Although I did not post my blackbelt testing up there yet, I would tell you how to look for it on this blog.........

Here are the steps (Read this very carefully)

1st. Open or turn on the internet
2nd. Go ot www.Google.com (If your already there your head of the gang)
3rd. Type in the search box under Google and type in Matts-shoes.blogspot.com (Trust me on this part)
4th. Look at the suggestions websites until you find Youtube-FuturestarMatt's channel
5th. Click on that website titled Youtube-FuturestarMatt's channel

Im really tired right now............ In Lil Rock

My day was very exhausting all the way to the writing of this post. All i've got to say is I have relly been patient with the combined total of 4 hours sitting in a cramp seat in a airplane. Because of the the different time zones I might not be having the post-everyday streak but I could be wrong.

Still Scard.......... Internally that is........

Although I deserve my black belt for my black belt testing, but, my internal pet peaves/scars is that I did not break the board with the step-reverse side kick which I was supposed to do. I have'nt gone to and tkd classes after the black belt testing, because I am way to scard because I did not break the board with that specific kick. Even if my instructer gave my black belt to me because I rightfully earned it I will still be scard.

Oh well......... I think I just need to get over it............

I think my instructer is going to give out the people who tested for their belts last week this week. I Will be so proud of myself if my instructer gives me my blackbelt in the upcoming classes I go to.

The campout with Josh and Jason pr.2

Hey guys/girls as you might know that I hade campout with My cousins Josh and Jason yesterday/June 21, 2008. Like I promised that I will tell you what we did...........

It was not fun as I wanted to be, because my cousin Josh wanted to get to sleep early (which was no fun) and Jason always kept gassing up the tent so we constantly coming in and out and in and out of the tent so that we avoided the gas tomb and wont die in there from suffication (Im sorry if your reading this Jason but it's true). So that's what we did the entire night of campout, Going in and out from the tent. I hope next campout was a little wee bit funner.

Tonight is a campout with Josh and Jason

Every once in a while we have a campout. If you dont know what a campout is i'll explain, A campout is like people spending the night except outside in the backyard and in a tent. Because we just set up the tent right now and dont have any stories of what we did I dont have to much to tell you about this great campout. The Black belt test

Hey guys Today, June 19 or as I might call it Black belt test day was very hectic and somewhat embrassing. Heres the story for my black belt testing.

We arrived at the studio about 5:30 already anxious and quessy(Butterfiles in stomach). Before the black belt test I was training realy realy hard so it would be perfect. When the judges bowed us in we took our seats on floor. When I was seating looking that I am having a stroke and imagining myself having broken bones because of a board, my parents comforted me about how great I'll do. After a while it was my turn, I did great on my 2 forms that I needed to do and sparing was a breeze..... While I finished my 3 things that I needed to do I realized that my fear was getting closer and closer........... Board Breaks............. Im not afraid of board breaks but their was one specific one that I needed to do (A step-reverse side kick). I did the vertical fist on my first try, But, let me just say I did not break the board with a step-reverse side kick. When my judge noticed that I cant do it (which I could but not at that time) told me to switch my board breaking attack to a jump front kick and I had to break it on my first try. Luckily amd literaly I broke wood(LOL). I was so happy but then I was sad because I did not do the regular board brake that I was supposed to do. When my faimly and my judges went to dinner(young shushi) I kept on asking questions if I passed or Deserved to pass and questions like that.....

Just to let you know My judges will send my scores to headquarters to see if I deserve the black belt, In other words you dont get the belt after you took or pass the any test, it takes time.

So I hope that I passed the black belt test.

(To make my mother proud and me keeping my word for her)

Got and earned It

I have Got and earned my permission to test for my 1st degree black belt today.
I am so excited an nervous because my black belt testing is tommorow.
But dont worry I have an intution that I would do great for my black belt testing.

My mom and I made a promise if I got my black belt, she would get these things for me.

3. colored eye contacts(Perhaps)
4. Make up kit(Perhaps)

My Goals....... for Blackbelt

Today was a stupendous acheaving day for me. If your wondering why, I will tell you why.....

A normal student would be taught their own form and one steps about 2-3 weeks or until when testing come by with hard training.

But I, Matthew Ryan Azevedo learned 4 forms and 1 one steps in a half-day. That Is amazing. My whole faimly was Amazed, shocked(Good way), and have pride in me because I did those 5 things all in a half-day and by myself with a little help.

In other words I have finished all my requirements for black belt now.

My black belt testing is this thursday.... Just to let you know.......

All I need to do is my form that im going to test with and show it to my Instructer tommorow to gain and earn permission for my black belt testing, so I can test for a 1st degree black belt.

Fathers day prt. 2

Like I promised yesterday on my post yesterday I would do my talk about how my farther's day went. (Sorry for confusing you about yesterday)

This all happened Yesterday or Farther's day.......

My dad started with a 1 hour and a half boring lecture about their paradimes or oppnions. Luckily after that we had Josh and Jason(Cousins) come over for swimming. After about 2 hours of swimming we had a farther's day dinner with my cousins. When we were just eating dinner aunti Joe called us if the her sons are coming home soon. My dad replied "Their eating dinner" (so dont expect them to come home at a blink of an eye). Lets just say thier plans changed because we ignorantly gave their kids dinner. When their parents came to house around 9:30 they invited me to spend the night at their house and I accepted the invitation. I got all my stuff to sleep over their house and when we got to their I asked Joshua if I could use the family's computer to type in my blog. At the end of yesterdays blog we watched a very funny movie called Norbit. Then a while later near the movie's credits, I slumbered to slumber land and that ends my very hectic Farther's day.

Horror in the checkout line

Hey guys, a while back I found this short story in my dad's mac book air(labtop).
When I first read this story I realized I had to put it on my blog.....

Again this dad's story of me.






Watching your children grow up is a process subject to extremes; one moment it feels like you're watching Swan Lake from the front row, other times it's like watching a 40 car pileup on the freeway.... in slow motion.

We've had our share of pile ups watching our son Matthew grow up into the young man that he is today. For those of you that are casual readers, our son Matt is autistic. I won't bore you with the clinical details of Matt's condition, suffice it to say that autism causes Matt to live in his own little world, but as he likes to say "It's OK, they know me here."

One of the more agonizing traits of Matthew's flavor of autism is his lack of a proper inner monologue; in other words.... what he thinks, he says. Occasionally the humor of the moment is lost in the abject horror of having to explain to someone that "he couldn't help himself." One such instance, for example, was a trip to the grocery store with Matt. He and I are standing in line waiting for our turn at the register, when a very (very) large man gets in line behind us. Did I mention he was huge? We're talking a guy so large, that it didn't matter who you were, you would look at him and say to yourself "Oh my God! That man is huge!"

I should take a moment to clarify here. There is Hulk Hogan huge, there is "The Rock" huge, and there is Lyle Alzedo huge. This guy was none of those. This guy was Jaba the Hutt huge. There, I just wanted to make sure that we were all on the same page as to what type of huge we were talking about. You know, Jared before all of the Subway sandwiches. But I digress.

So we're in line getting ready to check out, and it suddenly occurs to me that Matt is watching this gentleman intently. Simultaneously I get a sinking feeling, and a prickling of the hair on the back of my neck. Something is about to go down. I quickly say a prayer to Saint Albertson that the checker finishes and we can skidaddle out of there post haste. The last item is scanned, debit card scanned.... almost home free........

"Dad!!!"

(oh no!)

"Dad, that man needs to poop really bad!"

Hmm can I run faster than he can? Most likely, but how to salvage this social train wreck? Being resourceful I said the first thing that came to mind.

"Little boy, where's your dad? Didn't I just see him walk out? You better go catch him. I'll go with you to make sure you find him.

Why do I share this story with you? Well, my boy has grown up quite a bit since that unfortunate incident, but the inner monologue is only slightly improved. In other words, for the most part, he still speaks his mind, often with no regard to the consequences. And if that weren't enough, he's started his own blog. I told him it would be a good way to express himself without necessarily getting beaten up.

Lady Sovereign lost her reign

Hey you guys, as you might notice the heading "Lady Sovereign lost her reign".

I'll tell you why I put that heading

You know that Lady sovereign is british, right?!.
Also if you study british history reign means absolute control of a country for a period of time like the Elizbethian the 1st reign.

So in other words when I put "Lady sovereign lost her reign", I meant that Lady Sovereign is not my top favorite singer anymore nor my idol.

Now I look up to a very famous singer/artist with his freightning persona and appeareance. You might be wondering who is Matt talking about?

My aftermath from Nate an zach

Yesterday I posted a post that said that Nate and Zach spended the night and will make a new post about them spending the night............. So heres that post......

We had an exhausting night last night because we were playing our video games until I cant keep my head up anymore. So the next morning(Today)we had fruit loops together and again played our video games. When we were having a fun time with my cousins, my sister came to me and asked if we wanted to go to the movies. I asked "which movie". She replied "Kung Fu Panda".

When we went and watch Kung Fu Panda with my faimly, In my oppnion I thought it was a great movie with a few parts I loved.

After the movie we went to our house to swim with my cousins and family freinds which we did. After about 1 or 2 hours we went to tkd with my cousins. Again After the harsh lessons of tkd we went to a fancy chinese or Japanese resturant called Paecking Wok. We had a few noodles and plenty of laughs, when it was time for my cousins to leave us we said our goodbyes and thank yous for spending time with us.

So that ends my day today.

My cousins came today

My cousins and Aunt: Nate, Zackery, Orianna, and Aunt. Kelly came to our house from Sacramanto today. Because we rarly see them we made sure that we had a blast which we did. when they needed to leave my mom and my aunt arranged to come again on Tuesday. So the fun does not stop there ,Oh No it does'nt, they are coming to our house on Tuesday mabe to spend the the night. OOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHH I am so excited and cant wait til Tuesday.

1 more day or end of school today

Hey people, as you might noticed about my heading "1 more day or end of school today". Because I finished all my finals today I don't know why I cant have a head start in summer vacation..... In other words, because I hsve all the work finished that I needed to complete, Im done with school!!!!!!!!....... But ........ I still have one more day.

In my oppnion I dont know how to explain this but I will do my best.

In simple words that everybody could understand (even my self).


It's either go to school and do nothing productive becaused I finished everything and it would be a waste of time, OR ,I could stay home and have a early Summer Vacation and have nothing to worry about.

So, could you please comment on this post so I could have people's oppionion if I should go or not.

Almost there..... Just 2 more days

Hey guys I just came back from school, I cant believe there is 2 more half-days left until school is out. This post is about my day at school.... So here it Goes


When my dad dropped me off, I went suddenly and streight to social studies. We were studying about world war 2 last week, so that was on my final today. I got to say that test was time consuming and hard. After that hard and time consuming work it was time to go nutrition, instead of going outside like the regular students I walked to my case managers room. After nutrition I had to complete a 70 problem algebra quiz final. Luckily I was finished in less then 1 hour. By the time I was finished with my final it was time to head home. When I was leaving from my class and getting into my dad's car I thought about how many days are left now.......

2 more half-days...... which made me really happy.

On my own today......

I made many improvements today.

My day started at 11:32 when dad woke me up and asked me if I wanted to walk the dog with Josh (my cousin), and I replied yes. After Josh and I went walking around a 2 mile walk around the neihgbor I went to Joshes house. When I walked to joshua's house (unfortionatly) they could'nt come to me house right off the bat because they needed haircuts. So on that note they invited me to go with them to the supercuts in oceanside. When I got back from our 2 mile walk I asked my parents permission, They said yes. My dad gave me 40$ for me to get a them food from taco bell and a haircut. When we got to the supercuts I told the nice lady about "not cutting the length but the bushines". My haircut ended not usually that I expected it but it was good. When we all finished with supercuts we went to taco bell to buy 8 tacos (plain tacos if you were asking). When I got home My mom was dazzeled by my new haircut while my dad was not so impressed. About 30 mineuts later Josh, Jason, Mary (my aunt) came to my house to swim. After the Glorius time of swimming with my cousins and my aunt, my aunt invited us to eat dinner at her house. When the time came my faimly went to my aunts house. After dinner my mom and my aunt was discussing about my p.e grade and teakwondo, when my dad overheared this conversation he told my mom that I cant do it. So, Mom being competitive as usual told my dad it would take Matt (me) to learn a new form less than 10 mineuts. My mom asked me to work with paula on that new form, and Guess what.........



I PROVED HIM WRONG


I was so happy I acoomplished that task......


Shortly after proving wrong my dad wrong my parents was leaving my mom said that I could stay I little later than usual to help my cousin (Josh) by helping with his homework. When Josh was done, shortly my aunt drove me home and I said my thanks yous and your welcomes for her hospitality.

And that my ends my highly productive day.

In my oppinion my day was very independant and being my self (Which I really like).
But the spark of today was proving my dad wrong!!!!

Congrats Tkd hopkins

I like to congradulate Mrs. Hopkins and David Hopkins for earning their 1st degree black belt. I know they worked very hard for those belts, Because all of the work and effort they deserved those 1st degree Black belts. In my oppnion they derseve their black belts without any heisitaion. Congrats again and a handfull appluse to Mrs. Hopkins and David Hopkins.

Almost end of school year

It is almost the end of the school year for Fallbrook high school. School ends exactly on June 5th. I've accomplished several things this year, that were hard or easy on me. These things were:

1.Passing both parts of the cahsee (Math and English)
2.Make new friends
3.Learned to be indepedent on school grounds without my dad hovering over my shoulder.
4. Starting to express my style/culture and most of all being myself at school.

You see I've done stupendous things that affect my future, In a positive way.

This is how im going to operate my post..... Just to let you know it's going in chronological order. So im just going down the list.

1. My training-interview final for R.O.P.

To start off with my offical post, I had to work for one month for my Final for my R.O.P class. The final covered: Resumes, cover letters, applications and the classic interview. My final went in chronological order like I listed in this paragraph. In my experience for working out those things was very hard..... When it was interview day (which was last wednesday) I was very nervous but I had great self-confidence so I pulled through it....... You may be wondering how I did, I'll tell you..... For my whole final I got a solid A. I was releived how great my grade was. *whew*
I got that final done.......

2. My one year anniversy with Ghram's death

You'll probaly say "whos Ghram" to your self... Just to let you know he was my golden retreiver.... He passed away on wednesday last year (yep, the same day as my R.O.P) Later this month I'll post and tribute about Ghram.

3. Gay marriage law (my oppinion)

Earlier this month a new law was made for gays or lesbians to get married. Just to let you know, I support Gay and lesbian people a lot. When I first heared the new law about Gays and lesbians getting married, I danced a little *victory Jig* Because I know today's society was understanding about Gays and lesbians instead being shunned about or looked down upon. I'll make a post about Gay and Lesbian people and my oppinion on them, later this month.

4.Going to the padres game at petco park

I dont know what day I went to this was but I know it was this week. When I was just sitting minding my own-self my dad got suprise tickets for free ( a co-worker of dad's gave my dad those 2 free tickets). Although im not a big fan about popular sports like football, baseball,ETC. I said yes that I would go to that baseball game. So on the day day of the *big* game I was making myself presentable in public. When we drove there and got there, I was so nervous about: pickpokets, shooters, and the dreaded Homeless people, When my dad saw me not looking my usual he asked if I was nervous, I replied Yes. After the moment I said yes I began to think positive and thought of what I like most.... The good news it was great father and son time but the bad news was the Padres lost to the cardinals. :)

So that was my week full of busy and productive things that I've done.

I realy hope this makes up for lost time.

Hey, I heared the news about my mom's freind Mrs. Van Huis. The reason im posting this special post is to congrat her for her Mighty Black Belt Testing yesterday. I hope she made it because I will be very proud of that, because she accomplished somthing that really means alot to her. My mom is sick........

My mom is sick with the flu or cold so I hope she gets better. Whenever she gets sick I worry about her so much that I cant stop myself and end up crying my heart out for her. Let me just tell you this...... Whenever anyone gets sick in the faimly that I know of, I get congnitivly sick (well I should'nt say cognitvly sick but emotionally sick). So I hope she and I fill better soon.

Someday I will do it...........

Last summer ago I made a deal with mom that I would test black belt with here and she told me that ment the whole world to her.......But sadly She went along without me, It's my fault not heres, She was left broken hearted wishing I tested with her. From that day forward she wished I was with her testing. She still wants me to test for my black belt because that signals her that I accomplished something that she always wanted. Im still regretting the good choices that I did NOT made. I cant see mom broken hearted anymore because it tears me apart. So im Pledging myself to test in June because I cant live with the regreat anymore.

I, Matthew Ryan Azevedo pledge to test in June because it would change my fillings and regrets about the pass. I will do this to make my mom and my whole faimly know how much I could accomplish and im good with my word.

So I will try to post my Black belt testing on youtube.

His story is that he used to be a mascot for a basketball game but when his coach ask him to play a basketball game he missed his first two shots but after his first two shots he began to score consecutive 3 pointers shot after shot.

I don't know how many of you will be interested in what I have to say, but I think its time to say it. My name is Matt, I'm 16 years old, and I am autistic.
